Kalangala Oil Palm Growers Trust (KOPGT)

Location: Kalangala, Uganda

In 2005, Oil Palm Uganda Limited (OPUL), in collaboration with the Government of Uganda and various partners, implemented a smallholder project aimed at alleviating poverty and increasing palm oil production in Uganda. The project is still ongoing and is currently managed by a cooperative.
